Even booted with UEFI turned on but I had to turn off Secure Boot.  After installation, you have to install the fglrx driver through Menu &gt; Administration &gt; Driver Manager.<\/p>\n<p>Also, before you start updating, the WiFi has an issue after a few minutes of being connected, it will disconnect and won&#8217;t allow you to reconnect without a reboot.  To resolve this issue, you have to create a file in \/etc\/modprobe.d call it rtl8723be.conf .  Inside this file type in this:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>options rtl8723be fwlps=N ips=N<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Reboot, then update your repos with <strong>apt-get update<\/strong> and then <strong>apt-get upgrade<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This will solidify your installation..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Installing this version of Linux was fairly easy.
