The reason why is Verizon purposefully encrypts the bootloader to where you can&#8217;t unlock it.  When you tell Verizon about unlocking the bootloader, they think you mean carrier unlocking the phone to use on other carriers and while the Google Pixel 6 that I just received from Amazon.
